So what was I saying ? hmmm yes , now I started eating solid food yehhhhh....Mom gave me rice cereal to start with ...I ate it without making a big fuss ....so next was apple juice on the menu and than mung and Dal pani ...I guess I love to eat so enjoyed all of these items....Close to 6th months I also started tumbling and rolling over too ...Started enjoying summer time and more outing now ...Loved to play in the park on swings and slides with Hemit ...
Soon it was time to celebrate Holi ....My first Holi ...My buddies Soham and Samay came with Milind Mama-Sheetal Mami and Zalak Aunty -Kumar Uncle to play Holi with us ...
Loved the colors and play time with Soham,Samay and Hemit ...we played safe Holi this time but Mom and Dad were talking about how they used to play Holi back in India with water balloons , mud and tomatoes ....ohhh well I was saved at least this time but would love to get dirty one day for sure !!!
As I was growing , I started to crawl ..I also got my first teeth ..hurrayyyy but still cant eat everything ha ha ... Mom started feeding me yummy Indian food now ...Love this food I tell you ...Love Indian sweets like Sheero, Sukhadi, Magas and Laddu too...I figured I don't like sour stuff though .....I also figured out I love water ...Dedda used to take me to the pool ...love the cold water in hot weather ....Park visits, get-together with my buddies and few parties kept me busy during my 1st summer ...Close to July time, Mom Dad started talking about our India Trip ....Was so happy to hear that we will be in India for 3 months ...Finally I will meet Kaka-Kaki, Mama, Masa-Masi, Hemit , Nana-Nani and Dada-Dadi .....and the day arrived !!! Sep.10th 2014, we were all packed and ready to leave , BTW it happened to be Dedda's birthday too ....so was double dose of fun.....
My First international flight was blissful, I did not have much issues and I did fine except I wanted to stretch my legs so badly ..Thank god there was a layover at Singapore ...I loved Singapore airport...I went crazy and running around all over the places ...Well Mom Dad were tired running behind me so they were looking forward to board the final flight to Ahmedabad ...I also could not wait to reach Ahmedabad...
Finally we landed to Ahmedabad...It took us a while before I got to meet my family ....everyone was so happy to meet me..In fact was super charged and awake to meet them all as well ....
Met Mama, Masi-Masa, Kaka-Kaki for the first time ...All of them just wanted to hug me ...I also loved the attention and pampering ha ha ....Nana-Nani met me after 6 months ...they were so happy to see me .. On the way home, I was enjoying views of the city and was damn tired too...so by the time we reached home, I was already asleep ......
And here is my fun journey of India began ...I did not have to fight too much with Jetlag... I was super excited to explore India ...
I stayed with Dada-Dadi,Kaka-Kaki and Hemit first..I met lot of Dad's friends and family members ....Loved to meet all of them..
Loved to go on a bike and rickshaw ride ..was completely different experience...Also saw Cows and Dogs on the roads for the first time and soon Cow became my fav. animal ...
Soon the Dandiya and Garba festival came...Mom and Dedda explained me it is called Navratri and it is a festival for 9 days ...They took me to play Dandiya and Garba...I loved the traditional Gujarati dandiya songs ....Bhai bhai is my fav. and I still remember this song and demands Mom to sing it to me ...Loved the colorful dresses Mom got for me ...Mom and Dad looked lovely together in traditional attire....
Everyday was a treat for me ...Kaka-Kaki and Dada-Dadi used to take me to various places ..rides at Chiiti Bank....Dropping Hemi to school ....Going to Karnavati club and see animal pictures ...masti time with Hemit,Dhriti,Dhani and Bhakti ....go watch turtle with Lala bhai ...Play time with Ganni...Bath time with kaka-kaki ...ahh I love my life !!!
I enjoyed Diwali too...first time I had fire crackers to play with ... off course Mom-dad were with me ....loved it ....see this how much I enjoyed it !!
Soon I went to Palanpur to spend time with Nana-Nani , Mama and Masa-Masi ....I enjoyed my stay there and enjoyed bike ride with Nana , making Roti with Nani , doing masti with Masi and Mama , going to Mount-Abu , Feeding Cow and Puppies ....crawling around in the house .....everyone's effort to make me walk ...Mom's birthday ....Leaning how to make Tati from Jammu ba ....going to Ganga Dadi's place ..Going for a "Aato " everyday in the car ....teasing nani during bath time ...giving Mumma a trouble for sleeping ....ahh endless list of how many things I have enjoyed there ...
Mom had lot of fun too ...she got to spend quality time with everyone after a long time ..Masa and Dedda came to stay with us for few days ...It was a full house ..Nana-Nani were very happy to spend time with all of us .....
In mean time, everyone also tried to make me learn how to walk ...They tried different strategies and seems like dancing one worked...see how !!!
