well this summer was energetic and adventurous ..we did lot of day trips but few trip I will always remember are - trip to Daffodil Hills, Yosemite and finally Cabos-Mexico...
so even though Daffodil hills was a day trip, it was a good trip to remember . it was my 1st first with front facing car seat and I was able to see the way ..well this was not the best one as road was very rough and was full of turns so I started feeling dizzy and throwing up ...Mom got lil. worried as I was throwing up but I still wanted to make it to the place so after a while I guess I got used to the road, I was fine and I finally reached to the place ...
Place was so beautiful with daffodil flowers and peacocks running around the fields...I went crazy and started running in the field.. I was so fast that Mom and Dad could barley catch me ...well I was falling off on the ground full of sand while running but I didn't care as I was enjoying my free running..I was dirty within 30 min in the field but Mom and Dad let me enjoy ...I even crossed "Do not Enter " boundary of flower plans and rolled over it and smashed few flower plans too ..my cloths, hands and head were dirty with sand all over me but I did not care as it was a perfect day to be out and have fun.. I watched few animals too and had a lunch in picnic area ..so all in all , it was a good trip with few bumps but we made it as it was a last day of the season at daffodil fields , I am glad I did not have to wait till next year to see this beautiful place !!!
so next trip to remember was Yosemite ....I was going to the camping trip for the first time..
I was more happy as Shyam Mama/Chau Mami , Choksi Uncle/Mitali Aunty and Tushar Mama/Mitali Mami and Kushu Bhaiyo were going to join me .....
we had rented a house for us as I am still too young to be in the tent ..well we reached first and Mom started cooking dinner and we were waiting for other folks to join us ..In meantime I was enjoying the view from house...Yosemite indeed is a beautiful valley surrounded by water falls, bike trails , grass fields , mountains and small rivers ...
we went and saw bridal valley falls ..It was a small hike and I was carried on Dad's shoulder ..It was a fun ride I must say ..Dada-Dadi were also following us with their slow walk and I was shouting to hurry up ..I enjoyed the mist coming from the water fall ... we enjoy the natural beauty for a while and came back to the house...Others joined us and we all had dinner together ..I met Kushu Bhai for the first time so we were trying to bond with each other and soon we started playing with each other ...
Next day's plan was to pack lunch and leave to watch water falls ....so Mom and Aunties were busy with the food preparation, I/Kushu bhai and others were busy playing and chatting ... so we started driving towards water falls and we found good place where we could see the fall from the bottom and could have lunch ..it was very nice picnic spot so we all stopped there and had yummy pani-puri for the lunch ...Ohh boy , it was the best meal at the best place I guess...this experience of having a picnic at the place surrounded by water falls, mountain, river and grass was amazing !!!
Our trip continued and we visited few vista points...around sunset time, we headed towards glacier point from where you could see entire valley ....and the view was breathtaking ...as sun was going down, valley was full of colors and the view was spectacular !!!
what a way to end a day .....
Next day we visited gigantic sequoia tree area and ohh man those trees were huge and tall ...it was a lil. walk to go around the area and explore different kind of trees ...I and Kushu bhai were singing while walking and I was praying this trip would never end ....by the time we got back, we were super hungry so we decided to eat right away instead of finding a good picnic spot and I must say it was very satisfactory lunch (Khichadi /Papad/Chas...) we all had .....
after that , it was a time to say goodbye and I didn't want to ..but I had to ..so fun trip ended with lot of good memories and assurance of coming back next year ...
